Special Presentation: Journalism and CMS
John Thompson and Matthew Anderson work for University Relations in the University Communications department. This department is responsible for communicating with external media (newspapers, magazines etc) as well as for preparing media for external audiences. They have been working with several Drupal sites over the last year, two of which have won awards: Gaia and WesternToday. They will talk today about their experiences with these sites, as well as about a visual journalism / new media internship program that Western is promoting.
